Chris Burgess – Owner of Arty Duck Studio

Chris Burgess is the founder and owner of Arty Duck Studio, a creative venture established in 2023. Originally launched through social media as a platform to showcase his illustrations, Arty Duck Studio quickly became an outlet for Chris’s passion for art and design.

In early 2025, Chris expanded his creative vision by opening a dedicated studio space aimed at helping children explore drawing—whether they were picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to refine and expand their existing skills. His goal was simple: to inspire creativity and provide a supportive environment for young artists.

At the start of 2025, Chris also ventured into 3D printing, successfully transferring his CAD modelling expertise—originally developed for video game design—into the world of physical model creation. This marked a turning point for Arty Duck Studio, blending digital precision with tangible artistry.

Although the physical studio space closed in late 2025 due to low demand and changing circumstances, Chris saw it not as an ending but as an opportunity to evolve. Determined to continue innovating, he decided to focus on 3D printing—“with a twist”—bringing heritage, community, and craftsmanship together.

In June to August 2025, Chris collaborated with Leek Town Council to design and produce 100 limited-edition 3D printed models of the Nicholson War Memorial, commemorating the centenary of the memorial. The project combined historical significance with modern technology, creating meaningful keepsakes for the local community.

From the end of 2025 and into 2026, Chris has continued to work closely with Outside Arts and the Friends of the Nicholson Institute to produce a detailed 3D printed model of the Nicholson Institute, further cementing his reputation for blending art, heritage, and technology.

As 2026 unfolds, Chris remains focused on innovation, community collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of creative 3D modelling. Whatever comes next, Arty Duck Studio 3D Models continues to evolve—driven by passion, adaptability, and a commitment to meaningful design.
